I grew up in Carroll County and went to Carroll Community College. After years in tech, I kept running into the same problem: people with boxes of irreplaceable family tapes who didn't trust shipping them across the country to strangers.
So I built Rewound. When you hand me your tapes at the Westminster pickup, I'm the one who digitizes them. When you pick them up the following week, you're getting them back from the same person. No warehouse. No assembly line. Just a neighbor with the right equipment and the time to do it right.

What if a tape is damaged or won't play?
I'll text you a photo and let you decide. If I can't transfer it, you don't pay for that tape. I won't throw anything away without asking.
What's actually on the USB drive?
MP4 video files, one per tape. Named clearly so you can find them. Plug it into your TV's USB port, a laptop, anything. No special software needed.
I don't know how many tapes I have or what format they are
Bring what you've got. I'll count them, identify them, and give you an exact price before you leave anything with me. No surprises.
What if I need to change my count or cancel?
Show up with more tapes? I'll adjust the price on the spot. Need to cancel? Just let me know. No penalty, no hassle.
